Confident of winning the Lok Sabha elections after two phases of polling, BJP on Thursday said the opposition parties were desperate as their campaign based “falsehood against the Modi government” was not getting traction with voters. Finance minister Arun Jaitley said after the first two rounds of voting, the upsurge in favour of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the NDA was clearly evident. “India is on way to reject political instability and chaos and to elect an NDA government with BJP majority,” Jaitley tweeted.
