Stop Selling Textbooks, Uniforms. You Aren't A Business: CBSE To Schools ndtv.com

In a strong message to schools that they are only meant to provide quality education and not indulge in commercial activities, the CBSE has told schools to shut down their shops to sell uniforms, textbooks or other stationery items within their premises or through selected vendors. In an advisory, the Central Board of Secondary Education said these activities were a violation of the rules under which they were given affiliation.
