Shaheer Sheikh-Sonarika Bhadoria Starrer Salim Anarkali: Dastaan-E-Mohabbat Goes On The Floors Today

Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi actor Shaheer Sheikh is all set to return to the small screen with his stint of Salim in the TV remake of Mughal-e-Azam. Joining him will be Prithvi Vallabh actress Sonarika Bhadoria in the role of Anarkali. While reports about this show have been doing the rounds since a long time, latest reports suggest that they are all set to kick start the shooting.

According to the reports of TellyChakkar, there have been certain delays in the project however since the cast of the show has been locked down finally, they have decided to proceed with the shooting. Although, Shaheer and Sonarika will be joining the shoot much later. Currently, their childhood parts are being shot. A source close to the show was quoted saying, “Right now, only the child artists would be shooting for the show.” The reports further state that Uzair Basir and Naisha Khanna will be playing the young titular characters. Apart from them, Piyush Sahdev, Aruna Irani, Shahbaz Khan, Gurdeep Punk will be also playing pivotal roles in it. The show is expected to premiere on Sony TV by the end of August.
