Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma‘s Jab Harry Met Sejal failed to set the box office on fire, raking in an average collection of Rs 15.25 crore on day 1. With this, Jab Harry Met Sejal has not only failed to beat Raees, but also Salman Khan’s Tubelight and Prabhas’ Baahubali 2. The only saving grace is that the film has still managed to become the fourth highest opener of 2017, just ahead of Jolly LLB 2. As trade analyst Taran Adarsh revealed on Twitter, “Top 5 openers – 2017: 1. Baahubali 2 – Rs 41 crore, 2. Tubelight Rs 21.15 crore, 3. Raees Rs 20.42 crore, 4. JHMS Rs 15.25 crore, 5.
