Sometimes good intentions are all it takes to change the world. Akshay Kumar’s Toilet – Ek Prem Katha, has an abundance of noble intentions. While it may not be the movie that changes the face of India, it certainly is a clean and detailed introspection of Indian culture, its dogmatic values and the need for change in modern society. It is that rare middle-of-the-road movie that takes a social cause and presents it in the form of a largely satisfactory cinematic experience.
