Motorola One Power In India Starts Getting Android 9 Pie Update indianexpress.com
Motorola One Power in India has started receiving Android 9 Pie update. This is an over-the-air (OTA) update and brings with it features like improved battery life, redesigned Quick Settings menu and split-screen. The new user interface has simplified volume controls in addition to improved Do Not Disturb mode. Android Pie update for Motorola One Power also includes Dual SIM Dual VoLTE support along with improvements in panorama camera feature.
Motorola One Power, which is the company’s first Android One device in India, is exclusively available on Flipkart at a price of Rs 15,999. The phone made its debut at this year’s IFA Berlin tech show, it came with Android 8.0 Oreo pre-installed. More features of Android 9 Pie include new gesture navigations, Digital Wellbeing, App Actions and App Slices, Adaptive Battery and Brightness, Dark mode and more.
In terms of specifications, Motorola One Power has a 6.2-inches Max Vision HD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor, coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, expandable up to 256 via a microSD card slot. The device is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery with support for TurboPower charger. Motorola One Power sports 16MP+5MP dual rear cameras and 12MP front camera.

Connectivity option on Motorola One Power are: 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0 and GPS/ A-GPS. It has a type-C USB port for charging. Sensors include fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyro, ambient light and proximity sensors. Motorola had confirmed at the time of its launch that Motorola One Power will receive Android Pie, though it did not give out an exact date at that time. Earlier this month, Motorola One Power with Android 9 Pie was spotted on benchmarking site Geekbench.
