In a heartwarming rescue operation in flood-hit Kerala, a pregnant lady with a broken water bag was airlifted from Kochi by the Indian Navy on Friday. Later, she delivered a baby at the Sanjivani Multispeciality Hospital in Chengannur, Alappuzha district.

A video put up by the Indian Navy on Twitter shows a pregnant Sajitha Jabil being lifted from the rooftop of a building near the Kochi airport. She gave birth to a boy at 2.10 pm, merely hours after the successful rescue mission on Friday.
