Kangana Ranaut’S Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi To Clash With Hrithik Roshan’S Super 30 On January 25, 2019 bollywoodlife.com
Whenever two big-budget films clash, it is usually seen that the makers meet and one of the films adjusts its release date.
Clashes, we have come to realise, are an integral part of the business of cinema. In an industry that churns out films regularly, it is impossible to ensure that every film gets a solo release. However, makers plan their film’s release in such a way that they clash with a film that is either lower in budget or different in genre, so that there is minimum impact on the business. But it can’t be argued that every filmmaker would want to get an exclusive release, which is why they announce the date well in advance. And unless someone else eyes the same release date, the makers can rest easy that their film will enjoy a smooth sail at the ticket windows.
However, Hrithik Roshan‘s Super 30 that had finally locked its release date as January 25, 2019, planning to cash in on the Republic Day fervour, will now have to share its fortunes with two other films. While Emraan Hashmi’s Cheat India, too, had already locked in the same date, now Kangana Ranaut‘s Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi has also claimed the same date for release.
