J&K: 2 terrorists killed in encounter in Bijbehara town indiatoday.in

Two terrorists have been killed in an encounter that raged between security forces and terrorists in Bijbehara town of South Kashmir in Anantnag district on Thursday morning. An official told India Today TV that a joint team of Army's 3RR and Special Operations Group (SOG) launched a cordon and search operation in Bangandar Mohalla of the town. The official added that the cordon was launched following credible input about the presence of terrorists in the area. Soon after the joint team of forces intensified the search towards the suspect spot, the terrorists opened indiscriminate fire which was retaliated leading to an encounter.
