December 2018 is sure going to be the best time for all cinema lovers with some great releases lined up. Right from Abhishek Kapoor’s Kedarnath, Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero to Karan Johar’s Simmba – the year is sure going to end on a high. While Kedarnath marks the debut of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s daughter Sara Ali Khan, the young actress will also be seen in Rohit Shetty’s Simmba opposite Ranveer Singh. With King Khan’s Zero and Simmba releasing in just a week’s gap, it would be interesting to see which out of the two films will hit the maximum number of screens.
If new reports are to be believed, both Reliance and Red Chillies have already started various meetings and negotiations to attain the maximum number of screens for their films in multiplexes and single screens. According to sources, makers of Zero have requested for straight two weeks occupancy for both multiplexes and single screens while producers of Simmba, Rohit Shetty and Reliance have planned a huge release plan to reach out to maximum audiences. Just when makers of Zero want single screen for two weeks, producers of Simmba can’t afford to let go of it.
Zero starring Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif in the lead is slated for December 21 release. Simmba on the other hand, hits the screens on December 28.
