The latest round of Times Now -VMR Poll was conducted between Feb 5 – Feb 21 has shown an interesting trend with mixed reviews for the government's performance but respondents clearly favour Narendra Modi (52 percent) over Rahul Gandhi (27 percent) in the run-up to the Lok Sabha Elections 2019. Jobs and joblessness fare high on voter's agenda as 42 percent of the respondents said employment will define the outcome of the upcoming elections. The BJP-led government at the Centre has not fulfilled its promises felt 45.9 percent of those surveyed. However, the recent populist measures announced by the government on February 1, during the interim Budget 2019 seems to be a winner with the electorate.
