Mac Miller was found dead in his San Fernando Valley, CA home around noon on Sept. 8, according to TMZ. He was only 26 years old. TMZ reports that his death was due to apparent overdose, and a friend of the rapper called 911 to alert authorities.

The "Self Care" rapper has recently battled substance abuse. Just a few weeks ago, he was charged with a DUI after a drunk hit-and-run incident.

But Mac addressed his arrest during a conversation with Zane Lowe on Beats 1 on Apple Music, reassuring fans that he was doing totally fine.
